Total Immersion technology. And Mazda. Consumers show a can of Zoom Zoom energy drink and the vehicle emerges above the can. Platform: D’fusion Pro & D’fusion @ Home.
User Interface Design GmbH wins the “Touch First Developer Challenge“, a Microsoft Surface design contest. Both the graphical design and interaction design is really really nice! ”The award-winning application is an interactive company presentation. Digital cards give information on reference projects, competences, methods, and contact persons of UID. The Surface table is operated via gestural interaction. Apart from gestures that already exist such as touching, rotating, or scaling, UID also developed own gestures.”
This is a good way to engage and involve your customer! Hugo Boss “smells” success and uses AR in London to increase the Christmas Sales! AR nicely combined with a competition…. Agency: SimonandJohn. Software: Total Immersion.
Brand: Nike (again!). Agency: Wieden + Kennedy.
The campaign “Leroy Smith” goes straight to my heart. Brilliant, humoristic advertising movie and also a nicely designed “full-on-1.0-website” with colors a la extravaganza! Ha Ha – I Love it! Do you remember Volkswagens very successful “Fun theory” campaign? Humor can create a big viral marketing effect… (and boost a brand value). “Seriousness is an illness…”, says Osho. And its true. Humor and laughter has nothing to do with our judging egos. Laughter creates relaxation, an open mind, acceptance, and a no judging mind. Thats probably why humor is working in marketing…it connects beyond the mind to the heart.
Tonchidot has developed Seki Camera, a software for experiencing and tagging up the outernet. In other words: “access informational and entertainment services by creating a “Clickable World” via the use of Augmented Reality (AR) hyper-tags” in your mobile device.”These user-clickable tags, which we call “AirTags”, are location-based and mapped in the real world. These AirTags can be seen and accessed through the camera view of mobile devices with Sekai Camera software.” A great technology for museums, and larger shopping malls. Junier research expect Augmented Reality on the mobile to generate $732 million by 2014. Way cool!
tip: want user generated AR? iPhone is now hacked…
I don’t really like bus shelters. Well -up until today. Check this campaign for the upcoming movie Avatar (and LG cellphones). Using touch screens they turn the bus shelter into a multimedia kiosk… Me like.
For more info on how to transform public spaces to interactive marketing… check this blog: The word is my interface.
And…of course - MIT – has a very futuristic bus shelter called the EyeStop. Public transport will be so much more fun in the future…

From: Inventorspot. Isn’t it time for Web 3.0 gurus soon?
There’s no substitute for the Sun.
And I say: this is a good example of a social media !
Seac02 is a new platform for building VR and AR solutions, for mobiles, web, events etc. Read more at this blog. In the marketing of Seac02, I read words like: “Less technical”, “all-in-one”, “painless”… which is words that usually makes me a bit sceptical… Anyways - it looks really nice and I will for sure try it out! It might turn out to be awesome! (yepp. arent sceptical people a bit boring ?)
