Where do new ideas come from? This film is about design strategists and how they identify the right ideas. It was produced by the global innovation consultancy Continuum.
In January and february I have been working with this flash site for our customer. We worked with the amazing Aorta photographers – and I do love them!
For the café background retouch work – who could be better than Erik? (also mentioned at the Ogilvy blog). It was a great fun journey and we managaged to transform a wintery snowy house, to look like a cafe from France – and transform a 2D photo to a 3D flash parallax. LOVELY!! And I am so looking forward to work with both Aorta and Erik Johansson again and again…
From David Armano, SVP, Digital at Edelman (Chicago). Great presentation (as always). Recommend you from my heart to check out the illustrations at L+E Thinking Archive. I spent a full day there already! Great stuff, from a great mind.
Sam Martin has a nice blog post about your future in 2020. He was asked by Forbes magazine to envision 2020 and the result can be seen here: “Your Life in 2020“.
So a future word for you: “Wuffie”. A Wuffie is “conceptual social Metric based on what others think of you”. From the blog: “The term “whuffie,” by the way, is a word coined by author Cory Doctorow in his book Down And Out In the Magic Kingdom. It refers to the measurement of respect or karma a person gains or looses in their lives. In Doctorow’s future, humans have implants in their brains that visually project their whuffie, which has replaced money as currency.”
You can download his science fiction novel at the site for free. Meanwhile – take care of your social carma!
